Terms and Conditions of Little Gems Swim School Limited (‘us’ or ‘we’)

1. It is the Parent/Guardian/Carers/Persons responsibility to notify us of any illnesses, injuries, or medical conditions likely to impede a person’s safety or ability to participate and to maintain their children’s/person’s safety prior to and after their lesson and to maintain the safety of other children or people in their care.

2. Parents are responsible for ensuring that children who are not fully toilet trained wear an Aqua Nappy and are responsible for the health of their children, if your child has suffered sickness or diarrhoea within 48 hours before the lesson start, please do not attend the lesson. If your child needs an inhaler, EpiPen or any other medical aid, generally or in case of an emergency, please make sure that you have these available at all lessons as we do not hold these items.

3. Any information given to us including but not limited to a child’s/person’s swimming ability or medical details will be assumed to be true and accurate. Should this not be the case we will not be responsible or liable for any unexpected outcomes or losses. Please advise us of all such information and advise us immediately if this information changes.

4. All lessons must be paid for in advance for a booking to be made and we will not make any refund(s) for cancellation or absence whatever the reason unless such cancellation is made at our request. Any additional lessons will be charged at the normal rate. A person’s place is booked and committed for the whole period of any term or course, cancellation during the term or the course will not lead to any reimbursement or refund.

5. We are not able to offer a substitute class for any missed classes due to illness, prior engagements or for any other reason. Please note that lessons cannot be extended in circumstances where participants arrive late. Please arrive 10 minutes before your session to allow time to change.

6. At least one Parent/Guardian/Carer for participating children must be present in the pool vicinity during the lesson.

7. We reserve the right to make changes to the programme where necessary, or to cancel lessons if there are insufficient numbers and to change times and locations for reasons beyond our control.

8. We will provide such swimming aids and equipment as we deem appropriate and a qualified swimming teacher for each group.

9. Photographs may be taken occasionally for our publicity and social media, we will ask permission from parents and other persons prior to taking and using such photos.

10. Parents/Guardians/Carers are requested not to use video or any type of camera/ mobile phone in the changing rooms or poolside to comply with child protection recommendations.

Please note, if a lesson gets double-booked, the client who booked first will get a guaranteed space on the course. If this does happen, we can either change your class or offer a refund.
